- yes you can do it on an a1200, you need something called an ICard
- (comp.sys.amiga.reviews had a review on it a while ago), it's a PCMCIA
- ethernet card.

- You can happily run amitcp over ethernet, I myself have 2 amigas and 2 pc's
- linked together via ethernet at home and it's brilliant being able to copy
- files really quickly between them...
